The Highland Park Woman's Club dates back to 1899 and
is today a member of the worldwide General Federation of Women's Clubs.
The Club meets twice per month in the original Clubhouse at 1991 Sheridan
Road, now the renovated Highland Park Community House, which the Woman's
Club gave to the people of the City of Highland Park in 1994.
The Club, primarily philanthropic and charitable whose members are
dedicated to community improvement through volunteer services, is also social
and educational in purpose.
The Meetings, which are held the first and third Tuesday of each
month October through April, are combined with varied and appealing programs
and either a tea or a luncheon. Special interest groups also offer
bridge, theater and short excursion trips throughout the year.
